We're seeking an exceptional accountant in the Hampshire area who excels at autonomously leading a varied client portfolio, overseeing WIP, deadlines, resourcing and maintaining excellent client relationships.

This is a key role within a collaborative team and will offer an ambitious and confident accountant the opportunity to really make the role their own.

You will be ACA or ACCA qualified, part qualified or studying, with previous experience within practice. QBE with demonstrable experience in practice would also be considered.

You'll be a strong communicator, proactive problem solver, and hands-on team player. You'll be technically minded, highly organised, and have a keen eye for detail.

Job Purpose

• Autonomously manage a client portfolio of various sizes and within a broad range of business sectors.
• Work closely with Directors to oversee workflow and ensure deadlines and budgets are being met.
• Champion service excellence throughout all communications and deliverables.
• Building strong rapport with clients as their trusted go-to contact, proactively handling queries.
• Deliver a strong technical skillset and a hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Support the tax team with non-complex computations.
• Support the firm's strategic direction by cross-selling services and maintaining loyal relationships.
• Drive your own professional development, keeping up-to-date with industry news and regulations, and undertaking training opportunities.

Job Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified, part qualified or studying, with previous experience within practice.
• QBE with demonstrable experience in practice would also be considered.
