This leading Accountancy firm is seeking an ACA or ACCA or AAT part or fully qualified Accounts Senior to join their formidable team where you’ll provide supreme auditing and accounting related services to a portfolio of clients from industries as diverse as charities to agriculture and where no two days are the same.

Working in their Kettering office, working 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday offering a salary of £35,000-£42,000 and an impressive list of benefits we’d be happy to tell you about. Hybrid working is available.

Role responsibilities

  • Manage a small portfolio of clients providing them with a 5-star accountancy service
  • Prepare accounts, VAT returns and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Monitor progression against deadlines making sure they are met and assist clients on their financial record keeping
  • Prepare corporation tax returns, personal tax returns, capital gains tax computations and IHT (training will be provided)
  • Develop and build client knowledge and rapport. Identifying business opportunities and assisting partners with value-added assignments
  • Train and mentor junior staff members

What we require from you

  • ACA or ACCA or AAT part or fully qualified
  • Must have recent Practice experience
  • Experienced in auditing, accounts preparation and tax computations
  • Excellent communication skills and client centric
  • Live within a commutable distance from Banbury
  • Driving license, plus car and willingness to make on-site client visit
