Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SENDCO to join our team. As a SENDCO, you will play a crucial role in promoting inclusion, understanding special educational needs and disabilities, and ensuring that all children have the opportunity to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the school's provision for students with SEND.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students' learning and well-being.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create individualised support plans.
- Monitor progress and evaluate the impact of interventions.
- Contribute to the school's overall improvement and development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination (NASENCO) qualification (desirable).
- Experience working with students with SEND.
- Strong understanding of inclusion and effective strategies for supporting diverse learners.
