A specialist provision based in Morden is looking for a Special Needs Learning Support Assistant to support students with Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties, Sensory and/or Physical disabilities, Autism and Behaviours that challenge.

About the role

Philosophy Education is currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join Specialist school. There are multiple roles available at Primary and Secondary age groups. In this role you will be supporting students from 3-19 years old with severe and complex learning difficulties, including learners with an additional diagnosis of autism and/or additional physical and/or sensory disabilities. All students require continuous support throughout the day and you will be working with them on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis. The curriculum is individually tailored to the child’s particular needs.  some of the school's strategies include Intensive Interaction, PECS, Signalong, Sensory Integration, and TEACCH.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside therapists and implement exercises to support students with physical disabilities. This role will include personal care and feeding support for some students.

The School

This specialist school is based in Morden and has two sites situated close to one another. The school offers curriculum at EYFS, Lower and upper school, as well therapy provisions and healthcare provisions.
