Specialist Resource Base Professional for High School in Cardiff

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Specialist Resource Base at a high school in Cardiff, working with children who have additional learning needs. The role is to commence from September 2024, with both permanent and temporary positions available. 

Position: Specialist Resource Base Assistant Location: Cardiff, Wales Salary: Starting at £12.82/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement individual education plans.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or in educational settings.
  • Understanding of additional learning needs and inclusive practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to student development.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant NVQ or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
  • Full registration with EWC.
