SEND Teaching Assistant - Ottershaw, Surrey

I am currently looking for a passionate and hard-working SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to join a well-known special needs primary school that is based in Ottershaw. This school is very passionate about the care and support they give to all of their pupils and have been rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted for many years.

Your role will be to support pupils who have complex speech, language and communication needs. The pupils will have a structured day and you will be expected to keep records of each activity for each child to have a record of learning progress for the day. You may be required to work with small groups of children or on a one to one basis depending of the child’s needs.

For this role you must have;

- Previous experience working with SEN child / children either in a classroom setting or personal life

- The Ability to be flexible and adaptable

- A caring nature and positive attitude to learning and development

- A Enhanced DBS certificate (Bond Education can assist with this)

You will be required to work a full school day which is 8.30am - 3.30pm. 5 days a week (Monday - Friday).

The primary school are looking to hold interviews and trials as soon as possible so please send your up to date CV.

All applicants will be subject to thorough employment checks and must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service certificate in place.
