KS1 Teaching Assistant - SEND - 1:1

Seeking a Teaching Assistant in a Year 2 class to support a child with ASD - MUST BE EXPERIENCED.

Academics are supporting a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Canterbury who are seeking a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. Working on a 1:1 basis with a Year 2 pupil with ASD, they are seeking someone who has had previous experience of supporting children with ASD and a range of SEND.

Canterbury Teaching Assistant specifications - Teaching Assistant - SEND:

* Level 3 Qualified

* Be skilled at de-escalating behaviour
* Strong behaviour management techniques
* Worked within a school setting
* Be confident working 1:1 with a pupil

The successful candidate will be:

* A bubbly and outgoing person who works well as part of a team
* Be able to start ASAP
* Ideally have an up to date DBS (on the update service would be desired)
* Be seeking a long term and full time role
