    • While there are no specific qualifications required to become an SEN TA, having a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification can be helpful.

    • You will pass enhanced background checks, including a DBS

Role and Responsibilities:

As an SEN TA, your tasks may include:

      • Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups within classroom settings or the community.
      • Learning about each child’s developmental, cognitive, and social needs.
      • Applying your knowledge gained through your degree to assist students effectively.
      • Providing care and enabling access to learning for all pupils.
      • Implementing pupil support programs.
      • Managing the classroom and ensuring a conducive learning environment.
      • Providing personal and advanced care for some students.
