Reed Education is seeking skilled and inspirational Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) to join our dedicated team in Dorking, Surrey. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and innovate in special education, making a significant impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Oversee the special educational needs provision within the school, ensuring all students have access to high-quality education.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create tailored support plans for students.
  • Lead training and development for staff on SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of students with additional needs.
  • Drive initiatives to foster an inclusive school environment that celebrates diversity and supports all learners.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A recognised SENCO qualification or equivalent experience in special education.
  • QTS
  • A proven track record of effectively supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with students, staff, and parents.
  • A visionary and strategic approach to developing inclusive education practices.
