Position: SEN Tutor (Special Educational Needs)

Are you a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We are seeking a compassionate and qualified individual to work closely with pupils who are not attending schools due to their unique requirements. The age range and levels of these learners vary, making this role both dynamic and rewarding.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to children with diverse SEN profiles.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet individual learning needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other professionals to create personalized learning plans.
  • Assess progress and adjust strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Special Education or related fields.
  • Proven experience working with children who have SEN.
  • Strong communication skills and empathy.
  • Ability to tailor teaching approaches to suit different learning styles.
  • Willingness to travel across Leeds to provide in-home tutoring.
