SEN Tutor
  • Hourly Rate: £25+
  • Location: Greater Manchester
  • Contract: Until the end of the academic year
  • Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

We are currently recruiting for an SEN Tutor to work in Greater Manchester. This role is an excellent opportunity for tutors with experience in specialist provisions, delivering an adapted curriculum to learners with EHCPs, behaviours that concern, and other complex learning needs. The position is available full or part-time for the remainder of the academic year.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Delivering customised educational programmes to students with additional needs.
  • Fostering a nurturing and stimulating educational environment.
  • Collaborating with educational professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Assessing student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Engaging with students to encourage and facilitate their academic and personal growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching young people with additional needs.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, or equivalent.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
