SEN Teaching Assistants - Southampton

Academics are recruiting on behalf of a Secondary SEN school in Southampton!

The school caters for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. They provide a nurturing and therapeutic learning environment which caters for students with a range of needs including Autistic Spectrum Condition; social, communication and sensory needs; severe, moderate and specific learning difficulties and mental health needs.

SEN Teaching Assistants - Southampton

We are seeking Teaching Assistants with experience working within an SEN setting or someone who is willing to learn!
You must be willing to work 1:1 with students and to support the class teacher when needed.

You would be part of a team with extensive experience and expertise in special education and therapeutic support for pupils whose needs can no longer be met in a mainstream provision.

They are looking to take on Teaching Assistants to start ASAP on a full time, on going basis, so please only apply if you are looking for a long term or permanent position. The school is based in Southampton so you will need to be based here or be willing to travel into Southampton.
