Prospero Teaching seeks experienced Teaching Assistants for a SEMH College in SE25, South East London.

Position: Experienced Teaching Assistants
Location: SE25, South East London
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Placement: Temporary (potential for permanent)
Daily Rate: £90 (Negotiable based on experience)

About the College:

The specialist SEN College supports students aged 14 to 19 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges, offering a nurturing environment for academic and emotional growth.



Roles and Responsibilities:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your duties include:

  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to SEMH students.
  • Assisting with individual education plans and behaviour management.
  • Supporting teachers in delivering tailored lessons.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and parents for student well-being.


Requirements:

  • Previous SEN experience or strong knowledge of SEMH.
  • Valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Availability for full-time work.
