About the Role:

As an English tutor, you will be responsible for delivering face-to-face support to students, both in 1:1 sessions and small classes. The focus will be on both Literature and Language subjects, providing assistance at GCSE level.

Location: ?? Edmonton - N9
Age/Year Group: �? Year 10 (GCSE level)
Role: ???�? English Tutor
Hours: ? 22.5 hours per week Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm Tuesday 8:30am - 3pm
Other: ?? Combination of 1:1 and Group Learning (maximum 8 students)
SEN: ?? Experience working with students with Behavioural issues, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health), and ADHD is essential for this role.

Requirements:

  • �? Experience in tutoring or teaching English, preferably at GCSE level.
  • ?? Strong knowledge and understanding of both Literature and Language subjects.
  • �? Ability to engage and motivate students, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
  • ?? A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their full potential.
