SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Location: Kidderminster
  • Salary: £20,941 - £22,835 per annum
  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm

Reed is excited to partner with a brand-new school in Kidderminster in their search for experienced Teaching Assistants. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to support class teachers and foster supportive relationships with pupils, aiding their personal development in a nurturing environment.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Support pupils with their learning and general wellbeing, ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
  • Assist with care needs, implement positive behaviour management strategies, and adopt tailored approaches to individual children’s needs.
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality and challenging educational activities by supporting the teaching of the curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other staff to create a caring and safe learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A warm and caring personality that resonates with children and staff.
  • Effective and positive behaviour management skills.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within SEN settings.
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
