SEN Teaching Assistant

Join our vibrant and inclusive school in the heart of Sheffield, dedicated to providing a supportive learning environment for all students. We are currently seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to help our SEN students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Day to day of the role:
  • Provide tailored one-to-one support and facilitate small group sessions for SEN students to enhance their learning experience.
  • Work in collaboration with teachers to effectively implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet students’ needs.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing insightful feedback to teachers and parents to support student development.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment, ensuring all students feel valued and supported.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with SEN students is highly preferred.
  • A thorough understanding of the UK SEN Code of Practice and relevant educational frameworks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
