We are seeking a Teaching Assistant for young people aged 7-19 with Autism and associated needs.

A specialist school based in a small village outside of Rochester are looking for a teaching assistant to work with pupils with MLD, ASD and complex needs, they have roles based inside the classroom as well as on their outreach program, supporting outdoor activites and visits to places such as the local stables.

08:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday.

The School has a great SLT who care about their staffs wellbeing as well as providing a fun and nuturing enviroment for the students.

Class sizes are up to 10 students with around 2 or 3 Teaching Assistants in each.

The staff team are committed to ensuring the pupils get the most from their education. They provide a theraputic enviroment and a theraputic approach for children with SEN.

This is a long term position position to start ASAP.

Teaching Assistant, Healthcare / Nursing experience or experience with Learning Difficulties is essential.
