Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? We have an exceptional full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role available in a warm and welcoming local Primary school in the Stafforshire area.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils, providing invaluable support both academically and emotionally, either individually or in small groups.

Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide support to students with additional learning and behavioral needs
  • Engage in 1:1 and group activities aimed at addressing social and academic challenges
  • Collaborate with school teachers to implement effective learning strategies
  • Cultivate a calm and nurturing learning environment conducive to student growth and development
  • Continuously enhance classroom knowledge and skills through active participation and learning

Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Previous experience in SEN or educational settings is preferred
  • Demonstrated compassion, patience, and empathy towards students
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible availability for both long-term and short-term roles
  • Enhanced DBS clearance is mandatory
