 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Bexley, United Kingdom

Job Type: Full-time

We are on the lookout for an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our friendly and supportive team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting students’ learning and development and is ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding position in education.

Day to day of the role:

Assist the lead teacher in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational activities and lesson plans.

Provide guidance and support to students, ensuring their academic progress and well-being.

Facilitate small group sessions to help reinforce learning objectives and cater to individual student needs.

Step in to provide cover supervision during teacher absences, maintaining classroom continuity and learning momentum.

Collaborate with teaching staff to contribute to the wider school community and enhance the educational experience for all students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Hold a relevant HLTA Level 4 qualification or equivalent.

Proven track record of working effectively with pupils of all abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the school community.

A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal growth.
