Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Location: West Leeds Primary School

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team in a West Leeds primary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs, as well as assisting teachers with lesson planning and preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning and delivery of lessons for students with special educational needs
  • Provide one-on-one support to students as needed
  • Assist with the management of student records and enrollment documents
  • Communicate with parents and other stakeholders regarding student progress
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the school principal or other staff members

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with school policies and procedures a plus
