I currently have a potential long term role for an experienced Teaching Assistant in the London Borough of Enfield

The role is working in an independent post-16 institution managed by Enfield Special Education Trust. It is an inclusion provision recognising and celebrating equality and diversity and personalises placements for young adults aged 18 to 24 with an Education Health and Care plan that identifies their special educational needs.

The role, for the right Teaching Assistant, will be a full time, long term role lasting up until the end of the academic year.

Rate: £90 - £100 per day (with an immediate start)

Resposbilities:

  • A history of excellent teaching practice.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Assist teachers in classroom instruction and management.
  • Provide guidance and support to students.
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for instruction.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualised learning plans for students.
  • Administer tests and assessments to students.
  • Assist with the development of lesson plans and other instructional materials.
