SEN Teaching Assistant for Secondary Education

A diverse and welcoming SEN secondary school based in the Borough of Redbridge is seeking a motivated graduate with strong academics to join their fantastic team as a SEN Teaching Assistant for Secondary Education. Within this role, you will be responsible for supporting individual students and small groups with their learning, as well as assisting within the classroom.

This role is ideal for psychology graduates looking to pursue a role in mental health, therapy, childcare and educational psychology, as well as those wishing to kickstart their teaching career.

About The SEN Teaching Assistant for Secondary Education Role:

  • £95 - £105 per day
  • Long-Term, Full-Time role
  • Monday - Friday (no weekends)
  • Term-Time only
  • Based in Redbridge
  • Start ASAP

Secondary Teaching Assistant Job Description:

  • Working in a highly regarded SEN secondary school
  • Supporting students with SEND/SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
  • Assisting teachers with working towards academic and personal development
