We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistants to work in various SEN schools in Ealing. As a key member of the education team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they receive the personalised attention and care they deserve.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs in classroom settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to implement individualised education plans and support strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students, promoting their social and emotional development.
- Assist with daily tasks and activities, including personal care routines if necessary.
- Help to create and adapt teaching materials to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Monitor and record students' progress and behaviour, communicating effectively with the education team and parents/guardians.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students with special needs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal growth of students with special needs.
- Must have proof of right to work
