Prospero Teaching is working with an Outstanding Specialist primary school offering life-changing learning opportunities to young people and adults with a range of special education needs and/or disabilities. We have eight vibrant community-based Centres across London- the school has around 120 students on roll.

The school is a short walk from Goodmayes station and has excellent transport links into london with the new Elizabeth line.

Students who study with us have a wide range of needs including profound and multiple learning disabilities, communication and behavioural difficulties and specific medical needs. All students are individuals, and their learning programme is designed to support and empower them to achieve their aspirations and goals.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative primary school teacher, who specialises in PMLD, to join our dedicated and welcoming team. You will plan differentiated work to meet the needs of individuals and groups promoting progression, continuity and quality of learning by having clear intentions for our students learning. You should be able to accurately access need, deliver teaching reflective of need and measure progress with a determination to positively impact on the lives of our pupils. Lessons are carefully planned and take into account the needs, interests and abilities of all students so that learning is more purposeful and engaging.
