About the role

Our specialist independent School is located within 60 acres of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside and supports children and young people with epilepsy and associated complex needs. We are a happy, inclusive and welcoming School, that constantly strives for excellence in education. We have an ambitious education strategy and are looking for a talented Teacher who will create an enabling environment in which our young people can flourish.

In this exciting role, you will:

• work part of a specialist team to lead class groups in all aspects of the curriculum
• prepare and deliver inspirational and creative lessons
• deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment and make a broader positive contribution to school life
• promote a love of learning and enable our pupils to make progress towards positive academic and EHCP outcomes

We’d love to hear from you if:

• you have qualified teacher status in the UK
• you are passionate about helping children and young people reach their full potential
• you have experience working with SEN learners between the ages of 5-19
• you have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
• you are able to think creatively and engage positively with learners with a broad range of complex needs
• We will provide full induction, training and support to those who come from a mainstream teaching background.
