We're seeking an enthusiastic Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant for a part-time position at a school in Bradford, catering to children aged 2 to 19 across various classroom settings from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in schools with SEN students or relevant transferable skills.
  • Demonstrated patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
  • Ability to handle children with challenging behaviours.
  • Confidence, punctuality, and a desire for continual learning.
  • Effective behaviour management and the establishment of positive learning relationships with SEN students.
  • Experience working with small groups and offering 1:1 support.

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with young people, preferably in a school setting.
  • Willingness to undergo necessary training.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one through Randstad.
  • Team player mentality.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
