SPECIALIST TEACHING ASSISTANT (PHYSICAL DISABILITY SPECIALIST)
HOURS: 36.25 PER WEEK
FIXED TERM CONTRACT- ONE YEAR MINIMUM.

Prospero Teaching require a specialist Teaching Assistant with responsibility for Physical Needs (Physical Disability specialist) to support children to ensure they learn and achieve well. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of supporting learners with SEND.

Applicants must be able to:

• Communicate a clear understanding of the personal values and characteristics in which their understanding of SEND is rooted
• Describe a detailed analysis of the barriers to learning students with SEND face
• Demonstrate an awareness of research/evidence-based approaches to supporting learners with SEND.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
