Position: Learning Support Officer
Location: Derby
Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
Salary: £83.50 - £95 per day (depending on experience)
Essential Requirement: Previous experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with special educational needs, assisting them with their learning and development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and ensure the diverse needs of students are met.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents, contributing to ongoing assessment and evaluation processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is essential.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, special education, or related fields are advantageous.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
