SEN - Residential Waking Watch Support Worker
Lancashire Teaching Agency / Reed Education are seeking a reliable and responsible Waking Watch Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a residential or care setting, a strong understanding of fire safety regulations, and the ability to remain alert and focused during overnight shifts.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular patrols of the building during overnight shifts to ensure the safety of residents
• Respond promptly to any fire alarms or other emergencies and take appropriate action as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of all patrols and incidents that occur during the shift
• Liaise with other staff members and emergency services as required
• Assist with general housekeeping duties, including cleaning and maintaining communal areas
• Provide support and assistance to residents as needed
• Complete any additional training or certifications required for the role
Requirements:
• Previous experience working in a residential or care setting
• Ability to remain alert and focused during overnight shifts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to complete any additional training or certifications required for the role
