The Roles:

September Start - Full Time

A forward thinking and supportive SEN school near areas like Shirley, Sollihull are seeking a dedicated SEN PPA Teacher to join their expert team on a long term basis.
The role involves doing PPA cover on a long-term basis for the whole academic year in multiple key stages and year groups.

They are looking for a passionate and nurturing teacher who will be a part of an engaged and flexible team, supporting children with a wide range of needs across all ages.
The PPA Teacher role includes covering small classes of ages 3-19 and delivering the schools curriculum to support pupils that are bespoke to their needs and abilities.

What's essential to them is that the successful candidate is willing to work closely with parents and carers and regularly liaise with them over the progress that is being made in class.

The Role:
* The school's hours of this role are 8.30am - 4pm.
* Daily rate starts at £150.89 a day however the school will pay in line with experience!
* Limited planning, marking and managing assessment data.

The ideal SEN Teacher should:

* Have experience managing a class, designing a curriculum and working closely with SEN students
* Be adaptable, attentive and patient
* Be nurturing and caring in your approaches
* Be able to communicate effectively and lead a team of varying experience levels
* Have experience in non-verbal communication. For example Makaton, PECS
