SEN Placement Officer
We are looking for a SEN placement officer to join a local authority in the East Midlands. In order to be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record working within SEN in a local authority setting, along with experience of carrying out placement officer duties.
In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and securing appropriate education placements for children and young people across the county who hold or are issued with Education, Health, and Care (EHC) plans. Your tasks will include identifying, consulting, and liaising with providers to ensure timely and suitable education provision. By contributing to the effective functioning of the Special Educational Needs (SEN) team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive and coordinated services.
