A 'good' mainstream secondary school in a lovely area of Eastbourne is welcoming applications to their SEN Learning Support Assistant position. You'll be working with their cohort of SEN students who need additional support, going to different lessons with them helping to break down and adapt certain tasks to meet their needs. • Work closely with the inclusion team and teachers to understand the needs of the children
  • Ensure that equipment and facilities are safe for the children to use
  • Listening closely to the teacher to understand the task and then adapting it accordingly if required
  • Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and accurately

What is required of you?

  • A genuine desire to work with children with special education needs
