SEN Learning Support Assistant
  • Salary: £12.82 - £13.34 (Depending on experience)
  • Location: Meldreth, Royston
  • Job Type: Full-time - Term Time Only - Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive team, specialising in Autism and other associated learning disabilities. This role caters to both Primary and Secondary aged pupils and offers fantastic training and progression opportunities. If you have experience working with children and/or individuals with additional needs and are highly motivated with a positive approach to supporting students, this could be the perfect role for you.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Engage, motivate, and support students throughout their school day learning and activities.
  • Create a fun and vibrant learning space for the students.
  • Work closely with students with SEN and behavioural needs, helping them to exceed their targets.
  • Understand different pupils’ needs and provide tailored support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A positive and proactive approach to student support.
  • Experience working with SEN and behaviour children is desired but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Special Educational Needs is beneficial.
  • High level of communication skills.
