SEN Education Specialist

An Ofsted 'Outstanding' primary school in Chiswick is seeking an SEN Education Specialist to join their fantastic team. This is a long-term, full-time role starting in September 2023.

The school are specifically looking for someone who has got good experience in the following areas:

  • SEN
  • SEMH needs
  • MLD/SLD
  • Pastoral care

SEN Education Specialist - Job Description:

  • £105-£110 per day,
  • Assist in underpinning teachers' lesson plans,
  • Run 1:1 and small group interventions for students with SEN,
  • Making learning accessible and engaging for a range of SEN (ASD, Dyslexia, ADHD).
  • Providing 1:1 support for pupils across Key Stages 1&2 with behaviour requirements, as well as SEN,
  • You will experience working in an environment where assessing psychological needs is prudent.

SEN Education Specialist - Person Specification:

  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Degree educated at a 1:1 or 2:1,
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
