Reed are supporting a school in Newport in seeking a dedicated and compassionate teacher to join their team on a full-time and/or part-time basis, to support in both long term vacancies and sickness cover due to the importance of consistency with the pupils. **Position**: Special Education Teacher

**Location**: ASD School, Newport

**Duration** From September 2024, full time and consistent ad hoc available 

**Pay**: From £157.66 per day

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver tailored educational activities to meet the individual needs of students with ASD.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement IEPs.

- Foster a nurturing and structured classroom environment.

- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

- Experience in special education, particularly with ASD.

- Strong understanding of the educational needs of children with ASD.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
