Semi-Senior Accountant

Semi-Senior Accountant. My client is a well-established firm of chartered accounts based in Harrow, who provide a range of services to their clients, from bookkeeping and general accountancy to business planning and fantastic tax advice.

Due to recent growth, they are seeking a semi-senior accountant to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career to the next level with a very friendly and welcoming company.

• Prepare accounts for all our clients - sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Bookkeeping
• Prepare VAT returns
• Liaise with HMRC and ensure client accounts are up to date
• Liaise with clients on a regular basis to ensure they are kept up to date

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years' previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and will be at a minimum AAT L3 qualified.

• Previous double-entry bookkeeping experience
• Previous experience using Xero
• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• £28,000-£35,000 (DOE)
• Study support package available for right candidate
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays
