Are you ready to make a profound difference in the lives of young learners? We're on the lookout for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join one of our Schools.

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in providing tailored support and guidance to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

About the Role:

  • Assist the class Teacher in creating learning plans and in lessons to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Help foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and builds confidence.
  • Collaborate with other educators and parents to ensure holistic support for students.
  • Utilize creative teaching methods and resources to engage students and facilitate their academic and personal growth.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt accordingly to maximize learning outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with SEMH students preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SEMH challenges and effective strategies for supporting students.
  • Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
