A vibrant and thriving school are looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping children with complex learning disabilities. The school are looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to support a small group of children who display challenging behaviour and have social, emotional mental health needs.

They are searching for a dedicated, confident and enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant. The school provides high-quality education for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health barriers to learning. In the role of SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will ensure that students feel fully supported and they are driven to reach their targets by motivating and encouraging them.

The roles and responsibilities of the SEMH Teaching Assistant:

  • Supporting students in the classroom
  • Confident working 1:1 with students
  • Managing behaviour in the classroom

In the position of SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be valued as a vital team member and will be well supported in your own individual success and well-being. This results in happy, vibrant staff who effectively support children. At this Primary School you will be well supported and promote teamwork to develop the best structure for the students.
