SEMH Teacher – September 2024
Are you motivated by dismantling barriers to learning and inspiring young people? Are you looking for a rewarding and challenging role where you can provide a tailored education for students who have struggled to engage?

This excellent alternative provision is looking for an experienced SEMH Teacher to join the team and deliver nurture and intervention sessions for students with a range of SEMH needs, many who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. This school gives children a second chance and provides them with the tools that they need to be successful in their education journey.

One of my favourite things about this school is the leadership team. The Headteacher is inspiring and passionate about supporting the most vulnerable of children, this is mirrored by the experienced leadership team and trickles down to the teaching ad support staff. Everyone at this school is here for the same reason, to make a difference! Facilities are good and you will have access to a range of resources, allowing you to deliver lessons that meet he needs of individual students. This role requires quailed teacher status (QTS).

Job Role:
  • Teaching small classes of children with SEMH needs who have been excluded.
  • Tailoring lessons to suit needs of individual students.
  • Making lessons engaging, interactive and informative.
  • Effectively managing classroom behaviours with the support for TA’s.
In return you will enjoy:
  • A long term or permanent opportunity supporting an excellent SEMH School.
  • Excellent support from dedicated leadership.
  • Opportunity for progression and development.
  • Being part of a wonderful team of teaching and support staff.
