SEMH/SEN Teaching Assistants Required

EdEx are working with multiple Schools located in South East London that are seeking graduates with strong academics and a passion for working with children with SEN/SEMH needs to join their dedicated and supportive teams. This is the perfect opportunity for graduates looking to develop the skills needed for roles in educational therapy, mental health, support work, teaching and more!

The roles that are currently available:

  • 1:1 Learning Support Assistant - (Primary and Secondary Schools)
  • SEN Teaching Assistant - (Primary and Secondary Schools)
  • SEMH Teaching Assistant - (Primary and Secondary Schools)
  • Autism Support Assistant - (Primary and Secondary Schools)
  • Speech and Language Teaching Assistant - (Primary and Secondary Schools)

SEMH/SEN Teaching Assistants Required Role

  • Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
  • Assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
  • Supporting pupils in and out of lessons (KS3, KS4, KS5)
  • Monitoring and recording interventions
  • Setting targets for individuals to work towards

SEMH/SEN Teaching Assistants Required - Job Specifications

  • Schools Based in South East London
  • Working in some of London's best schools
  • Monday - Friday (no weekends)
  • Long-Term, Full-Time (term-time only)
  • £105- £110 daily rate
  • ASAP Start

  • A hardworking graduate with strong academics and a passion for learning
  • Previous experience with children and SEN/SEMH needs
