Prospero Teaching are currently supporting a specialist provision in the Portsmouth area that is dedicated to supporting students aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Their mission is to provide a comprehensive education that includes academic, functional, and vocational skills, ensuring every student thrives in a nurturing yet stimulating environment.

They are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants who embody our values of respect, belief, and achievement. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students learning, help regulate their behaviour, and create a safe and conducive environment for their growth.

Requirements

  • Genuine passion for working with young people with SEMH needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and shared interests such as sport, gaming, music, fitness, the outdoors, horse riding or sailing.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
