Happy Friday! I'm Amory from NonStop, I'm working with an gorgeous and quaint local authority in the East Midlands that's seeking some experienced social workers to join their Looked After Children and Leaving Care Team! If you're seeking work on a permanent basis, this role is made just for you!

What will I be doing?

  • Child-Centring Approach: Work closely with families to help children and young people overcome challenges and achieve their aspirations, ensuring they remain at the heart of all interventions.
  • Risk Management: Utilise your expertise in managing risk and assessing children needs, implementing effective interventions to safeguard their well-being and promote positive outcomes.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate complex information simply and effectively, building strong relationships with clients and colleagues to facilitate collaborative working and improve service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Professional Qualifications: Hold a degree in Social Work and be registered with Social Work England, demonstrating your commitment to high standards of practice and professional development.
  • Driving Requirement: Possess a valid driver's license, as the role requires travel to engage with families and communities across Rutland.
  • Legal Knowledge: Have a solid understanding of child-care legislation and familiarity with the issues impacting parenting capacity and child development.
