The Post- Security Patrol Attendant Supervisor X 2

Operating under the direction of the Security Team Leader, the post holder will implement the University’s security procedures ensuring that all stakeholders have a safe and welcoming environment.

We are looking for individuals for the following shift patterns:

1 x Monday - Friday Day/back shift Supervisor, 08:00-16:00/14:00-22:00 alternately

1x Weekend shift Supervisor, Saturday/Sunday 08:00-16:00/14:00-22:00 alternately

The successful candidate will have:

  • A good general education is required with three standard grade qualifications (preferably including English and Maths) or equivalent
  • Previous managing/supervising experience
  • Experience working with teams
  • Current valid qualification in First Aid at Work or willing to work towards this
  • Experience of working in a customer focused role with front of house responsibilities.
  • Experience of providing professional and customer focused security services.
  • An understanding of routine security duties in a similar environment
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and colleagues in a professional and polite manner.
  • The ability to make clear, accurate written and oral reports
  • Current Driving Licence (although not essential)
