Job Title: Section Engineer

Location: Banbury

They are seeking a talented Section Engineer to contribute to an exciting and impactful civils structure project based in Banbury. Position Summary: As a Section Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a major civil engineering project. You will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the project, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to specifications and timelines. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment alongside industry experts and to contribute to the development of a significant infrastructure asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the construction activities within your designated section.
  • Ensure that work is executed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
  • Implement and monitor safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify workmanship and compliance.
  • Provide technical support to the project team and assist in resolving engineering problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress, and materials used.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience working on civil engineering projects, preferably with exposure to large structures or infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for design and analysis.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
