Are you a Secondary Teacher looking for more flexibility within your profession?

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a large number of Secondary Teachers to work with us alongside the Hampshire County Council to fulfil absence bookings within schools across Hampshire!

We at Reed Education Southampton run the Hampshire Supply Service through our branch, supporting absence cover and permanent vacancies support for schools within the Hampshire County. We provide the schools with excellent teaching candidates to fulfil day to day, long term and even permanent positions, to provide support with their individual needs – as well as ensuring we find the right opportunities for you!

As a Supply Teacher, you will arrive at the school at 8:30am and finish the booking at 3:30pm, covering the class in absence of the class teacher. The plan for the day will be there for you, and there is no expectation to plan or take any work home with you!

For this role, what will you need?

- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – or be willing to obtain one

- Qualified Teacher Status with a degree within a specialism, or equivalent

- A passion for teaching, and good availability for cover

- Happy to travel up to 30 minutes to schools

The salary for this role is £130 to £200 per day, based on your experience!
