Secondary Teacher / General Cover Teacher - Portsmouth - Summer Term

Academics are seeking an engaging and flexible Secondary Teacher to carry out a full-time contract in an established SEMH School in Portsmouth. This is to start after the Easter holidays on Monday 15th April for the full Summer term. They are looking for a Secondary Teacher who is happy to teach various subjects across KS3 and KS4.

The school caters for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs and other associated needs.

They will consider both primary teacher's and secondary teacher's as they cater for a range of learning levels. You will be required to teach various lessons across KS3 and KS4 so must be someone who is able to think on their feet and enjoy the flexibility of teaching subjects across the curriculum.

Due to the nature of the environment this position is suited to someone who has worked with pupils with challenging behaviour in the past, or someone who is looking to work in a unique setting. Class sizes are smaller than in a mainstream secondary school with a number of support staff on hand in the classroom.

If you are a passionate, experienced Secondary Teacher / General Cover Teacher living in Portsmouth who enjoys working in an alternative setting, please apply by sending your CV using the link provided.
