Job Duties:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons to secondary school students
  • Adhere to the school's curriculum and teaching guidelines
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Provide support and guidance to students on their academic progress
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to enhance the overall educational experience
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Education or relevant subject
  • Enhanced DBS check
Education:

Degree in Education or relevant subject

Experience:

Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of the secondary school curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective classroom management abilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working as a supply teacher
Working Conditions:
  • Part-Time hours, temporary position
  • Varied classroom environments in different schools
  • May require travel between school locations
