Job Duties:
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to secondary school students across various subjects
  • Follow the school's curriculum and guidelines to ensure effective teaching and learning
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with secondary school students
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of the UK National Curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Excellent classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience with virtual or online teaching platforms
Working Conditions:
  • Part-Time hours, temporary position
  • Work in a secondary school environment
  • Potential for travel to different school locations within the specified area
