Job Duties:
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to secondary school students
  • Adhere to the school curriculum and lesson plans provided
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments and tests
  • Provide feedback to students, parents, and school staff
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Prior experience teaching in secondary schools is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the secondary school curriculum
  • Effective classroom management techniques
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience using technology in the classroom
Working Conditions:

Varied secondary school settings, potential travel between schools, collaboration with other teachers and school staff
