Secondary School Spanish TeacherJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish Teacher to join our secondary school community. As a Spanish Teacher, you will inspire students to explore the richness of the Spanish language, culture, and literature. Your role will encompass the following responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Design and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that align with national standards and cater to various proficiency levels.
  • Language Proficiency: Foster students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Spanish.
  • Cultural Awareness: Introduce students to the diverse cultures of Spanish-speaking countries.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and encourage growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning experiences.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Hold a recognized teaching qualification with specialization in Spanish.
  • Fluency: Demonstrate fluency in spoken and written Spanish.
  • Passion for Teaching: Exhibit enthusiasm for imparting knowledge and nurturing students’ language abilities.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Cultural Competence: Appreciate the nuances of Spanish culture and its impact on language learning.
Experience
  • Newly Qualified Teachers: We welcome applications from NQTs with a strong foundation in Spanish.
